Born out of a love for China and a desire to bring that passion Westward, Andao Tea was created in 2005 by Jake Caccia and Rob Henrich. Both fulltime residents of southern China’s Yunnan Province and longtime China enthusiasts, Jake and Rob started Andao with one simple idea in mind – to offer high quality, rare and organic Chinese teas without all the frills of Western media hype. Today, Andao works year round with local and national Chinese artisan tea producers in order to ensure the best possible whole leaf, single origin, rare and organic teas for their clients. Whether it be a unique flavor specific to a tea production region or a particular denomination of origin, Jake and Rob have committed themselves to promoting Chinese teas that best represent the true nature of China and its millenary tea drinking culture.
